Katherine encourages her clients to set the agenda for their coaching, and to own their goals. She enables dialogue with manager and organisation where appropriate, to ensure the coaching recognises and is of value to the wider context. She offers support, empathy, challenge and an opportunity to engage in good quality thinking and critical self-reflection. She is committed to quality and works with each client to establish how progress can best be measured and evaluated.
Katherine fully recognises the diversity of people's learning styles, expectations and experiences. She enjoys working with clients from a range of backgrounds, including senior managers, business-owners and people with high potential.
In terms of her qualifications, Katherine has a Masters in Coaching & Mentoring Practice (with Distinction). She is a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and subscribes to their Code of Ethics. She takes her own development as a coach very seriously, and employs the services of a Coach Supervisor.
Katherine is also an accredited Coach Practitioner in the Science of Happiness at Work, a research programme investigating the link between positive psychology, performance and productivity. As part of this she is licensed to use the iOpener People and Performance Questionnaire with individuals.
